Who we are
An association for people who want to act, film and tell stories
Dipold is a registered association (z.s.) based in Prague 6. It brings together people who enjoy theatre and film — whether they perform on stage, write, direct, play music, or help with technical work and organisation.
For us, theatre and film are not separate worlds. Both rely on story, collaboration and the courage to show something to an audience. The photographs from our performances show what keeps us together: shared work, music, costumes and the joy of playing.

Story first
Whether it is a scene on stage or a camera shot, we begin by asking what we want to tell.

Creating together
Actors, musicians, technicians and organisers — every performance is the work of the whole group.

Beginners and experienced people are equally welcome. Willingness to try matters more than a CV.

We are not afraid to experiment with form, music and improvisation.
The camera
Film and audiovisual work
The film side of the association focuses on audiovisual storytelling and documenting our work. Details of individual film projects will be added once they are ready to be published.
